I just returned from McCall, Idaho after having a chance to attend the Men of Radio Retreat. It was a wonderful couple of sunny days enjoying the freshly fallen snow. We got a chance to go snowmobiling, see some wild elk, and take a dip in a nearby hot spring.
The rest of our time was spent hanging out with like-minded men who love the Lord and are seeking to do a better job of lifting one another up and encouraging each other as men.
Now in it’s 5th year, most of the attendees are actively serving in radio in some capacity, though Bill Scott who organizes the event clearly makes it known that “radio” is not the point. It’s not an industry event. It’s about connecting, being real and lifting one another up. I love it, and will definitely be back next year.
